Resurrection Knife Company LLC is a husband and wife team. Kawika and Keri Kiesling started RKC LLC in 2018 after closing down their mobile mechanic business.

Kawika was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer in August of 2017 called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. Through much prayer and research, they decided that they would forego radiation therapy and instead do the Gerson Therapy. Part of the Gerson Therapy is removing the toxins from the body. Being a mobile mechanic meant that Kawika was constantly touching chemicals. Therefore, they closed KC Auto Services LLC in 2018 and opened RKC LLC.

Kawika has always had a passion for knives. When the therapy forced him and Keri to find another business that could work with the therapy, Kawika turned his passion for knives into a business. It started off as a blade sharpening business and quickly evolved to include blade restoration and bladesmithing.

Kawika uses a combination of old style (forged) and new style (stock removal) to create contemporary styled knives. The blades are made from specific high carbon steel and stainless steel blades.

We take pride in creating beautiful and functional pieces using wood primarily sourced from Maui.
